Trace Rinaldi's interest in knives came from meeting a man named Norm Levine. They would talk for hours about knives and knife making. Norm suggested Rinaldi try to make knives and guided him on what equipment to purchase and gave him some ideas on how the process works. After some trial and error, Rinaldi began making knives that functioned well. Rinaldi makings knives that excel in terms of performance and function, and believes that the ingredients of a good knife are "blood, sweat, and tears."
