TPATRD01 TOPS Armageddon Knife

I am normally skeptic when it comes to machete-knife-hybrids, but this one is really nice. It performs very well as a chopper (some say the handle causes discomfort, but it is perfect for me), is very sturdy (full-tang etc.), still the choil allows a grip for finer cuts as well. 1095 is a good choice both for toughness and keeping an edge. The rare case of a convincing 'allrounder'.

Just received it today, well packaged, the knife/sheath were sealed in factory plastic. The edge grinds were perfect, it came hair splitting sharp and the micarta grips fit my medium/large hands well with no hot spots. I used a baton to split a few logs (up to 5" in dia.) for kindling and it worked flawlessly.This is a high quality knife that should last a lifetime. Can't wait to hit the trail...
