Rick Hinderer began making art knives in the 1980's. Rick has experience as a firefighter/EMT that sets him apart from the rest. His design philosophy is deeply rooted in his experience using his knives as part of his first responder tools. When Rick joined the rescue dive team, he shifted from art knives to tactical knives. The combination of formerly designing art knives and his experience as a first responder allow him to design tactical folding knives that are not only aesthetically pleasing to the eye, but extremely comfortable in the hand.
