UC3249 United Cutlery Knives & Swords Bushmaster Explorer Knife

This knife it a winner! for sub $30, you'll never find a better one. the 1095 blade throws sparks from a flint unbelievably well, about as good as my "true" flint striker. The handle could've used a bit more care in finishing as there was a touch of sharpness on one of the edges, and one of the pins was a little proud of the handle, but nothing a bit of sand paper didn't take care of. The blade hair shaving sharp out of the box, and performs all cutting/carving tasks with ease. Sharp 90 degree spine throws pure lava off of my ferro rod as well. The included shit is very durable, and works as intended. I would put this knife up against ANY high dollar blade($100+). I own a couple of said high dollar blades, and they have taken a backseat to this little gem as it has become my primary belt knife in the field. At the price point, I have no issues in stating this is the BEST knife you can own. It'll do everything you need it to, and if it does happen to break on you, you're only out $30... I've put this knife through the wringer, and it has easily performed as good as my ESEE 5, and Kephart by Pathfinder Knives. If you're worried it'll fail because of the price point, Buy It! The knife will put all of your fears to rest. If you're trying to build a bushcraft kit, or need a solid knife for a BoB, BUY IT!... This knife is Common Man AND Common Sense.
