IP612 Legacy Arms Brookhart Templar Dagger

Review of Legacy Arms Brookhart Dagger, I bought this dagger to go with my excellent Legacy Brookhart Templar sword. It is a very nice dagger, 18 inches long with a 12 inch x 1 7/8 at the hilt blade, the curved guard is 4 inches wide and the dagger itself weighs 19.2 ounces. It comes reasonably sharp and with a little work could be razor. Unlike the sword which has a central fuller running down the center of the blade, this blade is a cruciform style. The grip is the same spiral wound heavy black leather with a heavy round peened on pommel to balance the blade, this has the typical Templar cross in red as does the sword. This dagger is built very strong and is fairly light and agile for the sturdiness. The Leather over wood scabbard is also very nicely done, it fits the blade very well and has the same brass chape at the tip, as does the sword. The mouth of the scabbard is rounded to fit the rounded guard on the blade. All in all it is the perfect compliment to the Templar Sword and is proudly displayed on my wall with my other Legacy Arms / Gen2 swords and daggers. PS this is carbon steel, don't forget to oil regularly, Jeff D.
