This knife brings joy like few others. The way it feels in the hand, the way it cuts soft material and food, the range of grips it works perfectly in, the edge this heat treat allows you to work with… all put this knife in the “Amazing Value” category. And consider it a bonus that it’s also about as fun as it gets with for a back-lock knife. It’s a dangerous but pleasing fidget. *at your own risk. Just the thwack of this knife opening makes it worth the purchase price, but it turns out to also be a super useful tool with great steel. The liners add to the heft and provide the perfect center of balance. This is not an ‘edc’ knife, it’s a heavy chunk in’ work tool and its works amazing. I have only ever stropped this blade with compounds since I got it and it slices food WAY better than any flat ground Spyderco I own - sorry, no lie. (i heart you Spyderco, worry not) Buy this knife, especially if it’s still under a hondo. Yes yes blah blah I hear you - the handles are plastic. Yeah but they don’t feel cheap like most FRN, the texture and liners are as good as Grivex (whatever you wanna call it) gets! Did I mention you should buy it?
