Zytel is fiberglass reinforced nylon. It is incredibly strong and durable. Zytel is injection molded which is beneficial for manufacturing high volume, so it is a strong, low cost option. That being said, some do not like the “cheap” feel of the handle and it has less to offer for grip than others. Linerlock refers to the blade lock configuration.
