This is a hefty, solid piece of steel that is larger than one might suspect from pictures, almost a small machete. It is not at all fancy, but is a serviceable, utilitarian hacker, better capable of handling small brush rather than slicing tomatoes, what my Dad would call a "corn knife." But that is exactly what I was looking for.
