I am unsure of the date I found these knives, I do recall them being 19.95. I seem to be continually giving them away or losing them. Lost the last one dragging a deer. The handle is very 'grippable' inside a big game animal. It kinda sucks cleaning the tallow from the checkering, but a small price for controlling the blade. The knives I have had in the past are amazing at holding an edge, The first one held an edge through 3 deer, including the butchering process. I do use different style of knife for cutting the steaks. I trust the quality has not been diminished, this is my third multiple knife order.

I have had one of the same knives for about 5 years. This one was a gift. I absolutely love the knife. J Marttiini knives are very high quality and I will never be without one.
