In 1907, Fred Leupold and Adam Volpel, close friends and brothers-in-law, went into business together. Their company, Leupold & Volpel made surveying equipment by hand. Over the course of this company's more than century old business, branches were added to the family business tree, the company name changed, and the types of equipment they built evolved. Now offering optics in all forms including riflescopes, handgun scopes, red dot sights, binoculars, rangefinders, and more, Leupold Optics delivers high quality with every product.
