KA1217S Ka-Bar USMC Fighter Sheath

These sheaths are well made and are a good value for the money. However, the snap-tabs are a bit on the short side. I bought three sheaths. Two I was able to "stretch" the leather to fit a standard Ka-Bar, but one needed to have a small splice added in to allow it fit over the handle and snap. The markings are crisp, and the rivets are like the ones on an original WW2 sheath from a Marine vet in the Pacific Theatre. Order these but expect maybe some fiddling with the length of the snap-tab.

retaining strap is too short.... does not work. sheath is useless for Ka-bar knife

I bought this sheath to use with an old combat knife I have. The knife fits very well and looks great in the sheath. I am quite satisfied with my purchase. This sheath and another I purchased came quickly and in great condition.
