It was packaged securely. Contained in its original packaging. Wasn't superb to flip out at first, but loosened perfectly after about a week. The replacement function was very troublesome at first but that also loosened and works very good now. Shipping cost the same as the knife itself, and it took 3.5weeks for the knife to arrive at the post office; but that is to be expected since I live in Norway. The grip can get slippery if you're wet/moist in your palms, so if that is a setback you might like the rubber-version of this knife better. Although this handle feels nicer and looks nicer. Been using it for a month now and I'm very satisfied with it. (Buying replacement blades could be a smart thing to consider.)
