The knife gets 5 stars. Very high quality and workmanship, the curly birch handle has beautiful figuring and I love the blade shape-bowie tip. Now to the less than excellent sheath. It is very well made, high quality. I like the older style with a snap to hold the strap open instead of the current elastic cord. The elastic is just cheap. The strap on mine doesn't hold the knife tightly in the sheath. It rattles around way too much. A five star knife with a 3 or 4 star sheath. The elastic was a terrible idea.

Sharp. Superbly balanced. Very comfortable grip. Well selected curly birch has lovely figuring, is warm to the touch, and gains traction when it gets wet. Overall design is elegant in its simplicity. Brand markings whisper rather than shout. A shapely and well proportioned blonde.
