Great knife fot the money

I collect fine knives so feel qualified to review this knife. I was curious how much knife I could get for $15. I was surprised to find, quite a lot. Looking a lot like a Buck alpha hunter, this knife sports several quality features not usually found in inexpensive knives. Perhaps even more notable, the fit and finish are unexpectedly very good. The knife sports what they call maple burl handle. This to my eye does not look like true burl but is pleasant looking. There is a liner lock that was easy to manipulate. The knife snaps open with a flick of the wrist and a push on the thumb stud and locks firmly. with no wiggle Despite many sellers claiming a 440 stainless blade, I believe it is actually 3CR13 mirror polished stainless steel blade which is a perfectly serviceable stainless often found on Chinese knives. It is close to 420 steel with equivalent hardness. The knife came razor sharp. There is a nice elk cut-out on the blade which lends some class. It is not finished too well with rough-ish edges but still nice. Overall a lot of knife for a little money. I bought several to give as gifts.
