Impressive

I was surprised how nice this replica is, nice and heavy, not bad detail but not great. The simulated wood grips are very nice too. I only got this to make the DL-44 blaster and it should be perfect for that.

Denix C96 Mauser replica

A decent replica of the iconic C96 Mauser pistol, perfect for reenactments or prop reproduction (specifically the DL-44 from Star Wars). The Denix C96 that I received had discrepancies from other Denix C96 models I have bought before in that the sight is different, the barrel is bored a lot deeper and it did not feature the "Denix diamond" on the side (instead it has "Denix made in Spain" stamped just above the grip). Regardless, I was very satisfied with the product and Discount Cutlery's service.

Denix broomhandle Mauser

I bought this replica basicly just to rebuild it into a Star Wars DL-44 blaster, so there you go. The model is a good startingpoint for my project, but it lacks a bit of detail and such if you are into handling your models. The safetylever is molded into the frame and the boxmagazine is just a totally empty space. Also the bolt has no detail like brass-ejector. Lastly the top of the frame, which moves slightly backwards on top of the lower frame on the real Mauser, is here bolted and screwed together.
