There are several types of bone handles available. Bone is often dyed and textured to create fairly inexpensive, yet attractive handles. The downside to a bone handle is that it is prone to cracking and it is porous, so it can absorb water. Linerlock refers to the blade lock configuration. The handle, blade style, and size can vary greatly, but each linerlock pocket knife has one thing in common: a spring-lock incorporated into the liner and a release lever near the blade tang. It is a single blade knife. Pocket knives are versatile tools. As the name suggests, keep it in your pocket to use for any number of tasks from cutting open a box, to opening your mail, to a means of self defense. At Discount Cutlery, we have dozens of kinds of pocket knives available including hawkbill pocket knives, lock blade pocket knives, miniature pocket knives, jack knives, trapper pocket knives, and more!
